After more than 6 years in my previous full-time job, I finally left for a new one. The new job is a bit of a technology shift as I’m now a Dynamics 365 developer. I still use some skills from my previous jobs like C# (for plugins), javascript, and SSIS, but the main technology, in general, is quite different. Dynamics 365 is like a combination of SAP and .NET, so the discipline I had with SAP before (eg. attention to details of a configuration) is quite useful.
It has been 4 months since I started with the new job. I’m now far less stressed though I still lack sleep because my working hours need to overlap with Canada. In fact, the sleeping hours are worst but I’m trying to compensate by sleeping a few times during the day. I can spread my work now throughout the day unlike before.
